cold call是什么意思？

我们都知道“cold”有“冷”的意思，“call”是“打电话”。那如果这两个词组合起来变成“cold-call”，又是什么意思呢？先来看看英文释义：

to call or visit a possible customer to try to sell them something without being asked by the customer to do so

在没有客户要求的情况下，给潜在客户打电话或拜访，试图向他们推销产品
